About Apprise News

Clarity over noise.
Context over hype.

Apprise News delivers short and long-form video briefings built around context, not clicks. Informed reporting for an informed public.

Why this exists

Misinformation spreads faster than corrections. Headlines prioritize clicks over clarity. Apprise News is built to cut through — clearly, directly, and without false equivalence. Democracy depends on an enlightened citizenry, and we are built to distinguish what is true from what is mistaken or misleading.

What we stand for

Four constraints that define how we work. Trust is built through transparency.

No teasers

We report what happened and why it matters. Direct communication, not attention manipulation.

No hyperbole

We avoid inflated language and manufactured urgency. Clarity stays ahead of virality.

No breaking chase

Being first is not the goal. Being clear, complete, and accurate is.

Independent editorial

Advertising and sponsorship do not influence editorial decisions.

A pipeline built for consistency

Every briefing moves through five stages — each with clear guardrails.

  1. Ingest

Pull credible source material into a structured workflow.

  2. Curate

Human editors prioritize signal over volume and verify sourcing.

  3. Compose

Generate clear narration with context where needed.

  4. Produce

Craft polished briefings in consistent formats.

  5. Publish

Distribute with transparency and proper labeling.

Meet the anchors

Apprise anchors are AI-generated presenters — a rendered face and a synthetic voice, built to read the news clearly. They are the delivery, not the reporting. See the full roster →

None of these anchors is a real person. Alice, Franklin and Thaddeus have no biography, no career and no byline — they have never worked anywhere or reported anything. Each is a synthetic presenter we generate, with a voice and a delivery style we chose. The facts come from the Associated Press wire, and every briefing video carries an on-screen AI label the whole time it plays.

Alice Crier, an AI-generated Apprise anchor

Alice Crier

AI-generated persona

A clear, even-tempered synthetic voice with very little inflection — built for copy where the numbers have to land.

Franklin Herald, an AI-generated Apprise anchor

Franklin Herald

AI-generated persona

Warmer and more conversational, with a brisk broadcast cadence — a step back before the detail.

Thaddeus Papps, an AI-generated Apprise anchor

Thaddeus Papps

AI-generated persona

A lower register at a slower tempo, with longer pauses between beats — an unhurried read.

What you get

A personal daily brief — your topics, your time, your language — read by an AI anchor in a broadcast format. Every story carries a Truth-o-meter score: a corroboration signal built from how AP itself handled the story — how many times the wire item was updated, how many separate AP angles ran on the same event, and any AP correction or retraction note. We work entirely from licensed Associated Press wire content, so it is a within-AP sourcing signal, not a cross-outlet fact-check.

Pricing
